Confirmation 2013

Confirmation provides an opportunity for a person to make a public declaration of their faith in Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord. For those baptised as children, it is an opportunity to confirm the promises made on their behalf in baptism.
Candidates are prepared for Confirmation by exploring what it means to be a Christian, how we're to live as a follower of Jesus, and are equipped to take responsibility for their own adult Christian lives.
The minimum age for confirmees is 16 years or Year 10 in High School. There is no upper age limit for confirmees.
In Confirmation, the Bishop prays for the candidates and place his hands on their heads as a sign of God’s blessing on them.
Download the attached rego form for more information. Sessions will be starting on Sunday 12th May 2013, and will be running on Sunday evenings throughout term 2 from 4:30-5:30pm. The confirmation service is on Sunday 21 July at 6pm.
