LUNCH WITH FRIENDS
Lunch with Friends is held on the second Thursday of each month, is very popular with retirees and others who are free during the day. St James’ members invite friends and neighbours to join them for lunch followed by a guest speaker. The friendly atmosphere and a great variety of relevant topics and speakers attract 70 to 100 people to the lunches each month. They are publicised through the church bulletin and special flyers which give details for booking. The cost is $8.00 per person. For further information contact Marg Hutchison (email@example.com or the church office.
SMART MOVES – Keeping fit to Music
Smart Moves is held weekly in the Gym Hall on Wednesdays 9:30AM -10:30AM during school terms. It is especially designed to help maintain fitness for the not so young by increasing flexibility, balance and strength. Stretch and tone exercises set to music, and easy jazz dance routines make this an enjoyable activity. Our enthusiastic instructor Gwenda Korbrits is a trained dancer and is qualified in fitness training. It is a low cost ($5.00 per class), safe and fun way to keep fit. For more information contact Marg Hutchison (Tel: 9144 4090 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org).
