Connecting Youth

 

Elevate is the youth ministry at St James and runs on Friday nights during school terms from 7.00PM to 9.00PM for school years 6 through to 12. Our desire is to see our young people engaging with God and connecting with one another by living like Jesus, loving like Jesus and leading people to Jesus.

 

On a typical Friday, we begin the night together in praise with our band and then split off into our Junior High (Impact, years 6-8) and Senior High (Elevate, years 9-12) groups. During this time, we’ll usually hang out in Tribes (small groups, split by gender and year), hear a talk, chill out and have some fun.

 

In addition to our Friday night program, we run Agent 68 on Sunday mornings, which runs in parallel to the 9am service and is for year 6-8 students. We also run two camps each year, one in the summer holidays and the other in the winter holidays following term two.
